Merry Christmas!

Hi Everyone! 

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!  If you didn't get Christmas card, sorry and send me your address!  I am personally looking forward to my 4 day holiday weekend of eating, sleeping and just being able to be home!  We'll see how Angela does, she doesn't really understand the concept of holidays.  I think that sometimes she thinks that school is going on without her or something.  Anyhow, take care and again Merry Christmas!  I'll try to write at least once a week and get some new pictures up after Christmas. 

My 1stTeacher Phone Call

Well, just 2 weeks into school and I've got my first "teacher phone call".  Apparently Angela was playing in the kitchen center with some other kids and one boy didn't want to "clean" the kitchen.  At the same time Angela was having this heated discussion with the boy, another child in the room apparently was scratched and that's when it happened...Angela got hit in the shoulder by the boy who wouldn't clean the kitchen.  Knowing the drama queen of a child that I have I asked if Angela had cried or anything.  Luckily she didn't cry or make a big scene but the teacher did send her to the nurse for an ice pack.  Pre-K Drama.

So Angela started Pre-K last week.  She goes to school from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., has lunch from 11 - 11:30 a.m. and then rides the bus out to Mama Esther's house.  I of course had to take the day off but did not pick her up so that she could get used to riding the bus.  She is having a BLAST at school!  I hope to have few teacher phone calls or conferences and hope to keep her momementum of enthusiasm for school going.  Joseph is doing fine too, being spoiled and loved by Mama Esther I'm sure. 

Our Daily Life #1

Hey Everyone!

Ok - so here's my first blog.  I'm making this so that family members can keep informed about our daily lives - mainly with the kiddos.  Enjoy.

So as I mentioned, our lives are pretty boring.  The only news I have to report is that Adrian and I celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary this past June - YEAH US! 

With the kids - well Adrian Joseph is now 5 months old and I LOVE TO CUDDLE with him!  He's a little chunk-a-roo.  He just does all the baby stuff - cooing, drooling, pooping, etc.  Everything he's doing is cute right now. 

Angela is whole different story - she's doing great and is a great kid, well-behaved in comparison to others I've seen but still testy and full of attitude!  Her most recent stunt, was when she attempted to shave her ribs with a disposable razor she found in our bathroom.  She wasn't very successful and it didn't cut her it only left a big red mark where she had attempted.  Oh and the other day she fell while her and I were walking at the track and got her first really bad scraped knee.  It was bad but not too bad - it only bled a bit and she was able to still walk home afterwards.
